Friday 4:30 – Soul Motion Session followed by WorldWind
$5 admission. Free for passholders.

Soul Motion is a conscious movement dance practice designed by Vinn Marti. It is a practice of deep listening to our body and breath, a pathway for unifying with our soul and souls while we move in a space alone and together. With the music, we explore how our bodies meets the space around us moment to moment. It is a practice of how we dance as a part of the whole space and of the whole community. Our Soul Motion session will be led by Seshen. She is originally from Japan and lives in San Luis Obispo. She has been practicing Soul Motion for years. Her life work is helping people to connect to their own soul through their body awareness and its connection to the nature. She approaches this with her dance facilitation, healing work, and individual consultations for sustainable conscious diet.

World WindWORLD WIND delivers a booty shakin’ blend of exotic improvisational world grooves from slow trance to hot and thumpin’ forming an interactive connection of expressive exchange with the dancers. They are some of the central coast’s most seasoned players with years of experience performing specifically for ecstatic dance at diverse venues throughout the state including: Esalen Institute, The Ojai Foundation, Sacred Spaces in Santa Monica, Dance Jam Ventura, Dance Tribe Santa Barbara, Freestyle Dance Jam in Pacific Grove, Dance Church in Santa Cruz and The Mystic Garden Party for Conscious Dancer Magazine.

Timo Beckwith, Andrew Wise, Tyson Leonard, Ryan Herr and Matt Reeder create the unique sounds of World Wind with exotic trance vocals, African harp, shruti Box, flutes, world percussion, Middle Eastern saz, Chinese cornet, guitar, bass, sax and electric and acoustic violin.
